I'm Supervisor Danny Sauter, Chair of this committee. I'm joined today by fellow committee members, Vice Chair Bilal Mahmood, and Supervisor Alan Walton. Yes, item number one is a hearing to consider that the person-a-person premise-to-premise transfer of a type 21 off-sale general beer or wine and distilled spirits liquor license to Taza Diamore Inc. doing business is Taza DMRA Cafe, located at 700 Fourth Street in District 6, will serve the public convenience or necessity of the city and county of San Francisco. Thank you, Madam Clerk, and I'd like to now welcome Officer Brandon Erickson from the San Francisco Police Department's liaison unit to the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Officer Erickson. Thank you, Supervisors for having me. Good morning. You have before you a PCN report for Taza Day More Inc. as Taza de Amore Cafe. They have applied for a type 21 license, and if approved, this will allow them to operate in off-sale general as 700 Fourth Street. There are zero letters of protest and zero letters of support. They are located in Plot 288, which is considered a low crime area. They are in Census Track 607.03, which is considered a high concentration area. Southern Station has no opposition. And 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Condition 4. There shall be no exterior advertising or sign of any kind or type, including ad advertising directed to the exterior from within, promoting or indicating the availability of alcoholic beverages. Condition five, any graffiti painted or marked upon the premise or on any adjacent area under the control of the licensee shall be removed or painted over within 72 hours of being applied. And lastly, condition number seven, peace officers as listed in section 830.1 of the California Penal Code and the director and other persons employed by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for the Administration and Enforcement of the Alcohol Beverage Control Act are hereby authorized to visit and inspect the proposed premise as outlined in red of the most recently certified ABC Form 257. At any time the undersigned is exercising the privilege authorized by the license on such premise. Thank you, Officer Erickson. And I do believe we have uh the applicants present today. I've been there for 23 years, and um uh we're just looking forward to serving all the patrons of Caltrain and um and have the same hours as the previous owner who was there for 50 years.
