I'd like to announce that the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission acknowledges that it owns and are stewards of the unceded lands located within the ethnohistoric territory of the Muekla Aloney tribe and other familiar descendants of the historically federally recognized Mission San Jose Verona Band of Alameda County.

The SFPUC also recognizes that every citizen residing within the Greater Bay Area has and continues to benefit from the use and occupation of the Wekla Alone tribe's aboriginal lands since before and after the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's founding in 1932.

It is vitally important that we not only recognize the history of the tribal lands on which we reside, but also we acknowledge and honor the fact that the Molecular Loney people have established a working partnership with the SFPUC and our productive and flourishing members with the many greater San Francisco Bay Area communities today.

Madam Secretary, can you call the first item, please?

First item is item number three approval of the minutes of March 12th, 2024.

Uh Madam Secretary.

Members of the public may address the commission on matters that are within the commission's jurisdiction and are not on today's agenda.

Commissioners.

And we are getting some feedback about the community benefits.

But really, the community hasn't benefited.

And that's putting it lightly.

And we have uh professional people who can help the community in giving them jobs.

Doing other things every Tuesday.

Uh I've attended 25 uh meetings on a Tuesday to help those people so that they streamline what they discuss and all.

But these are older people, what we call the OGs, you know, who are contractors and all, who we bring them in so that uh their wisdom can help us.

So I'm asking um the commission to read uh chapter 54, which pertains to what the commission does.

The commission that's at 1550, and to see what is stated in this administrative code, whether it is implemented.

And I I think if you find that none of it is implemented, then something really needs to be done on a wall footing.
