Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Monday, December 4th, 2023 meeting of the Rules Committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. I'm Supervisor Matt Dorsey, chair of this committee, and I am joined by Vice Chair Shimon Walton, our uh committee member Asha Safai, I believe, is on his way. We'd like to express our gratitude today, as always, to our clerk, Mr. Victor Young. Uh thanks also to the team at SFGov TV for facilitating and broadcasting today's meeting, in particular our producer today, Sus Enos. Mr. Clerk, do you have any announcements? Uh yes, public comment will be taken on each item on this agenda. When your item of interest comes up and public comment is called, please line up to speak on your right. Alternatively, you may submit public comment in writing on either of the following ways. Email them to myself, the rules committee clerk at VICTOR dot Y O U N G at SFgov.org. If you submit public comment via email, it will be forwarded to the supervisors and included as part of the file. There are two seats open on the assessment appeals board today, uh seats numbers three and seven, and both have the same requirements, which are a minimum of five years professional experience in the state of California as one of the following. Certified public accountant or public accountant, licensed real estate broker, attorney, or a property appraiser accredited by a nationally recognized professional organization, certified by the Office of Real Estate Appraisers, or certified by the State Board of Equalization. Our uh prospective appointees today are uh Steven Wasserman and Richard Lee. Um first of all, let's ask Mr. Usprin to come up and say uh uh yes, just to read the items onto the record.
