Um and good morning, supervisors and of course attendees.

Um I uh wanted to share a little bit about me.

I'm an immigrant, uh Latina, Pro Latina professional, and a mother of two.

Uh children that have gone through um preschool, elementary, middle school in San Francisco.

I've also um have a child with disabilities, and so I am a mother that um is well aware around the early childhood education field and just education overall, um, as I've been an advocate for my children, but I also work in the ECE field for over 16 years.

And when I say ECE, I'm talking about early child education.

And so um I worked with families directly in my uh work, working with them directly and helping them access early education.

I've also received child care subsidies in the past, so I have a lot of experience in that arena.

Um, and most recently, I launched a department of research state and evaluation in my current role as chief strategy and impact officer at Children's Council of San Francisco.

And so I'd be delighted to represent uh District 4 and the C of CPAC to be able to elevate data, bring data more to the table for our decision making, and to be able to continue to strengthen uh our work uh in supporting early education field.
