Item number one is uh motion approving rejecting the mayor's nomination for the appointment of Lindsley McLeese to the building inspection commission for a term ending July 1st, 2026.

Um yes, my name is Lindsay Mike Leese, and I uh was approached to take on this commission, and I think it was an exciting opportunity for me.

I've lived here for almost two decades.

I'm raising a family here, and the idea of contributing in this manner um was of great interest to me.

Um I think I bring to the role a wealth of experience.

I've worked for developers, institutional clients, and also individual homeowners.

So I've kind of seen that range of what it takes to build.

Um all of my work has primarily been in the Bay Area with a lot of different jurisdictions, including San Francisco.

So I also kind of understand those inner workings and some of the other cities that how they work.

Um in terms of service, I've served on the Structural Engineering Association Board, the AE Business Leaders Board, and currently I'm the chair for the Civil Engineering Department Board at Berkeley, where I attended, um, and I'm on the Earthquake Engineering Research Board.

So I think I bring kind of those different aspects and look forward to this opportunity.

Uh with me today, uh, I brought my coworker Renee Vignot, who I've worked with for the last 20 years, and Stuart Lewis, who is a architect practicing both uh residents of San Francisco.
