The joint meeting of the Rules and Open Government Committee and the Committee of the Whole convened on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Council Chambers. The committee reviewed the final agenda for the May 13, 2025 City Council meeting and the draft agenda for the May 20, 2025 meeting, approved the consent calendar, and heard public comments. The meeting adjourned at 2:10 PM.
It is two o'clock, and this is the joint meeting of the rules and open government committee and the committee as a whole. Um roll call, please. Here fully here, can we here go in absent? We have a quorum. Thank you so much. Uh moving on to uh city council agenda. We're viewing for May 13th. So we will okay. So we have a closed session at 9 30 and um uh regular session at 1 30 with a uh cancellation of our evening session. We have uh consent starting on page four five, six ending on page seven. We have strategic support starting on page seven going on to page eight uh and then on item six environmental utility services starts on page nine, goes on to ten, and then we have uh item number seven, neighborhood services on page ten uh eight, community economic development on page eleven, twelve, thirteen, and we also have starting on uh item number ten use. There are no land use items on the calendar. Yeah, there is a land use consent calendar one uh 10.1 and we have one see, 10 point three, and we have an ad sheet. Uh is there any um public comment? No public comment. Okay, is there a approval with the ad sheet? Yes. Great. There's a motion and a second to approve. All whoops, sorry, I don't please vote. Motion passes. Thank you so much. Um reviewing draft agenda for May 20th. We have a 9 30 closed session, 1 30 open session. Actually, uh Councilmember Kamei for May 20th. We are suggesting we start regular session at 11 a.m. It's uh formatted a little bit differently. It's uh further on down the header. Oh, I see. Yes, there is a recommendation to start at 11 a.m. instead of the 1.30 start time uh for the study session uh to be heard immediately following the regular city council meeting session and but not before three o'clock. Okay, thank you for that. Um we have consent starting on page four, going on to page five, six, seven, eight, ending on page eight. Uh we have item three, strategic support on page nine, and we have also item five, transportation and aviation services on page starting on page nine. Uh we have uh eight community and economic development on page ten and land use. We have uh starting on page 10, going on to page 11 and 12. Is there any uh public comment? No public comment.
