Staff is apparently asking for deferral of item 6.1 to September 9th.

We have consent for we have one item remaining on land use consent, which will be heard immediately after regular consent.

From what I read the memos, uh I think they indicated they won't be missing any council meeting, but I think we can get clarification on the dias next Tuesday for for you know to not interrupt the the meeting agenda that they will be missing September or whatever 2020.

I can't tell you anything on length because I don't I'm not part of that.

I'm just part of the setup.

So um generally you guys will be in the big oval over in the wing room, so we'll have a recess.

Okay, but the but the meeting will be held after our council meeting is concluded.

So if it runs past three, we're going over there later.

And I see the items that we're going to be uh discussing.

Um it's a special meeting errors.

Are we voting on anything or this is informational only just a presentation?

I could actually answer the as a formal staffer who coordinated these joint.

Oh, um, you know, uh typically it's just to get to give status updates to the both bodies, but I think we what we can do is we can provide direction to you know what we think um have dialogue between our both of our bodies to see how we can maybe find some areas of opportunities if there is areas that were conflicting, etc.

etc.

But I think typically these meetings tend to last about an hour and a half to two hours, depending on how long and long-winded some some of us may be.

Uh depending on the uh the topic.

And uh, you know, from from what I'm looking at it, um, you know, I I'm sure I'm pretty sure our chair um is gonna have some robust comments on the purified water project and or the status update, and and obviously all of us are deeply interested in the work on the encampment outreach and engagement that Valley Water and and the city are are working on, but um explicit direction and/or uh motions I don't think are necessary.

I think it's just a conversation for us to provide staff.
