Oh, I'm supposed to I'm I should have started by reading the code of conduct message, which I'm out of the habit of doing.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Section four, we have an amendment with to the agreement with Axon Enterprises.

And we have report on local street uh bids and award of contract for our local streets resurfacing project.

Section eight, we have actions related to uh Santa Clara Office of Support of Housing for a down payment assistance program and we have one item on land use consent to be heard immediately after consent and one land use item 10.2 conditional use permit for 58 South First Street.

The ordinance prohibiting the officers from concealing your identities in San Jose.

Grant agreement for We Hope at Arena Hotel.

Amendment to Unicode adopting 2025 building standards and no items on land use.

Uh yeah, no, I I just uh I I think we all know the the circumstances surrounding the need for uh the the measure and the the important work that uh the administration has done and as well as uh you know the mayor and the city council with trying to make sure that we uh do everything we can to to mitigate the negative effects of uh of of the federal actions, especially as it relates to our our safety net system and folks who rely on the health and hospital system um of not just the county but that our city residents uh depend on.

So um uh I look forward to um bringing this to council and ultimately supporting so we can uh move forward and and do everything we can in our power here in the city to protect our most vulnerable in our community and with that I'll I'll move uh the the recommendation in our memo.

Thank you, Chair, and I I agree with council member uh Candelius uh the health and and the hospital care for our underserved community and from a perspective of a former uh firefighter when we move trying to shut down a hospital and move a person from regional to VMC.

I personally have seen people die.

And I think it's important we we don't put the value on people's lives, and um we want to make sure that we support it.
