Alright, since it's two o'clock, I'm going to call today's meeting of the rules and open government committee to order. We'll start with roll call. Candelas. Here. One. Fully absent. Can we absent cohen? Here. We have a court. Okay. We are going to start by reviewing the agenda for the Tuesday, October 21st council meeting. It has a 9 30 closed session and 1 30 regular session. And the evening session is canceled. Consent starts on page five. Continues on pages six. Seven. And it's on page eight. Section three, we have the city manager's annual report. Section four, we have. Oh, I'm supposed to I'm I should have started by reading the code of conduct message, which I'm out of the habit of doing. Welcome to the meeting. As a reminder, we expect all attending to follow the code of conduct located in the agenda. Failure to comply with this code of conduct and behavior will which will disturb, disrupt, or impede the orderly conduct of the meeting may result in removal from the meeting. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming. Section four, we have an amendment with to the agreement with Axon Enterprises. And we have report on local street uh bids and award of contract for our local streets resurfacing project. Section eight, we have actions related to uh Santa Clara Office of Support of Housing for a down payment assistance program and we have one item on land use consent to be heard immediately after consent and one land use item 10.2 conditional use permit for 58 South First Street. We have any members of the public here? No public comment. Okay, back to the committee. I got a question. All right, go ahead, password. Um so on uh we I have uh an excused absent request on two four for NSC, but because it was canceled, do I still need that? Because of the city business uh uh the League of Cities. Do we still do I still need to do that, Angel? No, we can I assume we can drop that. Can I drop it given the NSC meeting was canceled? Councilmember, I don't see any problem with that since the meeting was canceled. Um I think I think you're fine. Okay, yeah, perfect. Then I will request whoever makes the motion. Go ahead and make a motion. Okay, I'll I'll move approval of the uh 1021 agenda with uh the the dropping of item 2.4 given the cancellation of NSC. Alright. We have a motion in a second, so let's vote. Okay, that motion carries 4-0. And now we're on to our agenda for October 28th. That one has a special starting time of 9 o'clock for closed session and a 1.30 regular session. Consent starts on page five and ends on page six. Section three, we have our homelessness activities audit report, purchase order for fire apparatuses, an amendment to vendor agreement for our vision service plan.
