The site is in the Industrial General (IG) zone, not adjacent to residential uses. Operations include 24/7 vehicle drop-offs but retrieval only during business hours (8 AM–5 PM, Mon–Fri). Two employees are anticipated.
- Staff recommended approval with conditions, including a revised condition 24 for stormwater management per Alameda County Clean Water Program, and a new condition requiring one bicycle parking space.
- Commissioner Rich asked about procedures for after-hours vehicle drop-offs, specifically whether vehicles would be placed inside the gated area and how hazardous fluid containment would be managed. Staff clarified that all dropped vehicles must go into the secure gated impound area, and the two parking spaces outside the gate are for customer pickups.
- No other commissioners had questions.
