Duties include implementing of plans, ordinances, and policies relating to land use matters, assisting in writing and implementing the general plan and area plans, holding public hearings and acting on proposed changes to the zoning code, zoning map, general plan, tentative subdivision maps, and undertaking special planning studies as needed.

Um, and a couple things I wanted to pass on that the city, um, which you might have read is starting its redistricting process within the city.

Um there are community of interest forms, which is um a term within redistricting um on the website right now, and the um interactive maps um will be coming within the next couple of weeks.

The next hearing on that will be uh in January, and there's a schedule on the city um redistricting web page.

Um we have started the charter review for the city of Santa Rosa and our very own uh Commissioner Cisco is the chair of that.
