I want to start today's meeting by sharing some details on a couple of upcoming design workshops for three of our 2022 park bond projects.

This is the second round of design workshops that hope to engage the community for new park designs.

At the previous workshop in January, we heard the importance of connecting to nature, creating spaces to gather in adventurous play.

The next workshop is for the West Echo Lake and Hemlock Parks.

All eyes on me is a bold and provocative showcase of handcrafted original artwork curated by Vincent Keel and presented by the Shoreline Public Art Program.

Shoreline City Council Regular Meeting - March 17, 2025

The Shoreline City Council held a regular meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at Shoreline City Hall. Mayor Chris Roberts presided.   • Authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Cascade Bicycle Club in the amount of $615,774 for an E-Bike Distribution Program.

Public Comments & Testimony

  • Laethan Wene (Shoreline) invited Councilmembers to the Northwest Center Annual Breakfast on May 8, 2025.
  • David Guilland (Echo Lake, Shoreline) described his personal experience using an e-bike as a car replacement, including transporting children and groceries, and noted that his e-bike enables him to travel despite disability. He expressed strong support for the e-bike grant program and also asked for clarification on the nine police vacancies (the report showed eight vacancies, later specified by the Chief).
