Public Comments & Testimony
- Damien Crabtree, Shoreline resident, expressed frustration about speeding on 188th Street near the new 185th Light Rail Station. He described a blind hill and unsafe conditions for pedestrians, and asked what processes exist to address speeding. City staff indicated they would follow up with him.
- Laura James, President of the Shoreline Sister Cities Association, thanked the Council for funding the organization. She reported that the association has officially voted to designate Accra, Ghana as a sister city and plans to apply for a "Curiosity Pass" grant to build a mobile museum using donated Ghanaian artifacts.
