It's my pleasure to be here.

My name's Nora Daly Kang, and I am the city's senior transportation planner.

You're right, you're quite you might remember me from last month.

I was presenting about the transportation master plan, and I am back, and it is a great pleasure to introduce tonight's agenda item on shared use mobility.

Just two years ago this month, I was on an international fellowship to study Helsinki's what Helsinki was doing in terms of providing a diverse set of mobility options that are so economical and convenient and fun that people naturally choose them over driving alone.

And then to better under well, first off, that was an amazing experience to see what's happening in Helsinki and that arena of mobility.

And that was really part of the fellowship.

The other part is the ongoing piece of bringing it back to the city of Shoreline and translating what I learned.

And that leads me really to tonight's agenda item to better understand the state of shared use mobility, and I will not uh uh define it right now because I know our team's going to do a wonderful job on that.

Um how the city's policies programs and campus structure could be updated to provide the public with more shared use mobility options.

The city engaged with the University of Washington's Evans School Consulting Lab to further research on how shared use mobility hubs can support movement in and through Shoreline.

Hi, uh Shortland Community Commission.

Thanks so much for having us this evening to your monthly meeting.

Our presentation today is on our recently completed research project, Making Better Connections, a study of shared use mobility in Shoreline.

As Nora mentioned, uh I'm Dale Markey Crimp, and I'm here with my two colleagues.

Good evening, and Pascal Chandeline.

And we are three current masters in public administration and it's almost graduates from the Evans School at the University of Washington.

Before we jump in, we'd just like again to thank the City of Shoreline for the opportunity to work on this project and contribute to the transportation master plan update.

We've just learned so much over the last six months of working with Nora.
