So we will move on to our study item, which is the light rail station sub-area plans update.

So I'll introduce the consultant team here.

Yeah, and you guys are welcome to come up to the table as you're as I'm introducing you.

But yeah, tonight.

So we've got the light rail station sub-area's discussion or continued discussion rather on the uh connectivity analysis that we'll share some information on this evening and looking for some feedback from the commission.

And so we have with us this evening uh Michelle Ellsworth and Lisa Greeter of Burke Consulting, and then also Jennifer Gruos and Brent Powell from Madura that are also supporting the project on the transportation side.

So I'll let you guys come on up to the table and they'll be walking us through the uh the presentation this evening, and then we have some time for discussion and questions as well.

Um and thank you, Andrew, for the introduction.

So um just to give you a question.

Um so for uh today's meeting we'll be focusing on responding to some questions that came up in the December 2025 um uh meeting, uh planning commission meeting.

We'll also dive into the connectivity analysis, talk about our upcoming public engagement, uh talk through some of our growth trends and environmental review, as well as the project schedule for and some discussion questions for the light rail sub-area plan update.

So, as a quick reminder, uh this is to update the environmental analysis and sub-areas for the two light rail stations at 148th uh street station area as well as 185th street station area.

Um and so this update will allow for um upfront environmental review as well as establish a plan to help improve connectivity.

So we quickly wanted to remind you both or remind you all about uh the boundaries of 148th Street station area that goes from about 145th to 155th and then extends up to Ridgecrest as well, um, and then um west to Meridian and east to um 15th Ave Northeast, and then the 185th Street station area um goes from 175th to 195th, it extends uh west along Aurora along uh north 185th Street and then east to um North City.

So those are are the approximate boundaries for the station areas.

And so we last connected in December to orient the planning commission on work done to date.

Uh and there were some questions that arose from that meeting that we wanted to work to address.

So uh the first question was focused on the timing of that planned action.

So we're looking to have that planned action match the city's desired time frame of 2044 with comprehensive plan.

However, with the planned action, um if the growth um thresholds, if that growth occurs faster, then the growth thresholds that would be in the planned action ordinance uh would be reached, and then the planned action would sunset.
