Very glad to be here tonight and uh to support through this um vital undertaking as we work to select a municipal attorney.

Earlier this week I provided a couple of read-ahead documents, one of which is some proposed acceptable interview questions that are uh just a guide that you uh that the assembly can use at their discretion.

Um I know in previous meetings there's been a question about the consistency between interviewing and the general guidance is that we try to be as consistent as we can, but also as the interview progresses, anything that you naturally would like to ask as a result of an answer or anything else that pops up is is also um recommended and free to choose to ask as well.

With that said, there were the second document that was provided was some general guidance on questions to avoid, mostly related to protected classes and making sure that we are not asking anything that would uh potentially set us up for liability related to discrimination of a of an applicant.
