Report on the status of the community civic campus project.

Good evening again.

Uh I am not uh assistant city manager Marion Lee, but uh in her stead, I will introduce our consultants, the Smith Group, uh Todd Coley, um and and uh Ken to present you with an update of the Civic Campus.

Uh they've made similar efforts and provided updates obviously to the City Council, uh to the bike and pedestrian committee and the park and rec commission.

And similarly, they're here tonight to give you an update on uh the efforts to um develop the plans for the uh civic campus.

So with that, I will introduce uh Todd and Ken.

Uh good evening, Commissioners.

Um actually my name is Bill Cates from Smith Group.

Uh Ken is not with us this evening.

Um we're gonna walk you through uh status of where the project is at.

Uh this is really information, and we're not asking for approval of anything right now, kind of giving an update, and we'll be back for more as we proceed.

Uh we're at about uh a little bit around between five and ten percent uh in schematic design, so the a lot of things are moving and changing, um, but a lot of things uh conceptually are set.

So with that, we'll go from there.

Uh so we're gonna uh do a recap of the architecture itself, what's what the building's all about, what's happening inside of it.

Um we'll then we'll work our way outside and look at the planning of the site, talk about the open space, uh, then go into the El Camino Real setbacks and GBI improvements and their relationship to this project, and then just tell you where the next steps are in the process.

Uh so on this map you can see pretty much the all of the scope, the smaller element to the bottom left, uh that represents the a fire station, which is technically outside of this project.

We are conceptually doing the design for the for the building, and then that would be built at a later time period.
