We'll go ahead and bring this meeting to order. This is the Spokane Valley City Council regular meeting in formal A format for Tuesday, October 28th, 2025. And if everyone will stand, we'll have an invocation from Sherry Olson, Path of Life Ministries. Will you all please pray with me? Oh Lord God, we thank you for placing us in communities and giving us the opportunity to work and live together, exercising our various gifts and talents for a common good, such as at tonight's meeting. Thank you, Lord, for the members of Spokane Valley City Council, their support staff, those employed by the city, heading up various departments, and who courageously step out in these leadership positions for the benefit of the community, despite many risks, opposition, and often little encouragement. Oh Lord, bless their sacrifice of time, energy, and finances. Use it for your glory and for the benefit of building a strong foundation and a community full of vitality and growth. Growth. I ask your covering and blessing upon all our first responders within this community. Lord, I ask you direct their steps, their paths, keep them safe, despite encountering dangerous circumcises and situations. Oh Lord, I pray that you would be with the leaders this evening as they address fun issues as well as difficult issues, which may be currently known or unknown to them. Father, I pray that you would give them wisdom and that Father, we would all work together for your glory and for the purpose of building this community. Amen. Thank you very much. And tonight we are we have some exciting guests who are gonna lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. We'll be inviting you all back again. Thank you. Thank you, Mayor. I'll just close you can continue on with city business. But we hit 7,000 Girl Scouts this year as a former Air Force veteran. I really appreciate your veterans memorial over there. This weekend we passed over 500 uh boxes of cookies out to military families for a Halloween fast at the base. You all make that possible for all the cookies you buy and donate. We have 40,000 boxes donated to our veterans. And this year we do have a new cookie coming for out for you. It's a Rocky Road-based cookie called Explore Moors. So yes, we want more Girl Scouts in the world.
