All right. Yeah, I know, right? Yeah. Um, so the Spokane Valley City Council regular meeting format B is um at Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 is now called to order. Uh we have an invocation with Pastor Drew. If you can stand, please. If you'd pray with me, please. Heavenly Father, first of all, we want to thank you for your goodness to us and our city. Thank you for the hundreds of people from Spokane Valley who opened up their homes and prepared spare bedrooms, set around dinner tables, and use their homes to help displaced fire uh individuals. Would you bless them for their hospitality? And we want to thank you again for sending us our mayor and each city councilwoman and councilman, each one who has made personal sacrifices to serve us that few of us know about. And tonight we request that you would give them the assurance that their thoughtful investment in the city of Spokane Valley will have far reaching future impacts. Though each one is doing his or her best, their experience and insight is limited. As such, we ask you, grant each one supernatural insight as they listen to each other and respectfully deliberate and make decisions. And in this age, when some voices are crying to defund our law enforcement officers, help our city council members and our electorate to stand firm behind these men and women who protect us every day. This city council of the city of Spokane Valley requested that there be an invocation as the first item of every business meeting. They have opened this important door asking you to assist them.
