Um I'd like to welcome everyone and call tonight zoning board meeting to order.

I'm David Stein, Chair of the Zoning Board, and it is 6:30 on March 25th, 2024.

The members of the board and staff for holding this meeting by Zoom video conference.

The public is in attendance both on video conference and by teleconference.

First, I'd like to call the role of the board and staff.

And Ralph Blessing, I understand, will be joining us in a little while.

The board's microphones will be out throughout tonight's hearing.

The applicant's mics will be open during the public hearing when their application is being heard.

However, I would ask the applicant to please mute your microphones when not speaking in order to reduce the background noise.

First part of tonight's meeting.

Well, it's really uh the second or third, but uh is the public hearing during which the public will have an opportunity to speak.

Each member of the public will be muted until it is your turn to speak.

Here's the procedure for the public to let us know that you'd like to speak.

If you came in through Zoom, please use the raise your hand function, and you will be unmuted when it's your turn to speak.

If you called in on one of our telephone conference call phone numbers, resume, please press star nine, and this will raise your hand, then press star six to unmute when you are called on to speak.

When members of the public speak, please state your name and address for the record and whether you're in favor or of or opposed to the application.

The board requests that members of the public limit your comments to three minutes so that everyone will have a chance to speak.

Um so we're starting with application 223-45, Air Wellness Inc., 417 Chapan Avenue special permit.

Applicant is seeking approval to operate a hybrid cannabis retail facility servicing both medical patients and adult use consumers.

Property is located within the CN and MG zones.

David Stein, Chair City of Stanford Zoning Board regarding ZB application number 223-45 AYR wellness tank.

Dear Stein members of the zoning board during its regularly scheduled meeting held on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024.

The planning board reviewed the above caption application referred in accordance with the requirements of the Stanford Charter.

Applicant is seeking approval to operate a hybrid cannabis retail facility servicing both medical patients and adult use consumers.

The property is located within the CN neighborhood business and MG General Industrial Zoning Districts.

After some discussion, the planning board voted four to one to zero.

Dell Levin Perry and Totillo in favor, Tepper against to recommend approval of ZD application 223-45 with a recommendation that before the zoning board renders its decision, the law department confirmed that the programs and activities offered for children at Building One Community Americas and the Knights of Columbus would not define these facilities as schools per the zoning regulations and this request is in general harmony with master plan category number six commercial neighborhood business.
