All right. Well, happy May Day, everybody. Welcome to this special governing body meeting on May 1st, 2026. I will begin with asking the clerk to take roll. Mayor Duncan. Here. Council members Hiller. Here. Dal Vivia Alcala. Here. Ortiz. Here. Thanks. Hell. Miller. Here. McGee. Or sorry, Brad Barry. Here. McGee. Here. And Hofer. Here. Okay. We have nine present. All right. We have one item on the agenda. With that, I guess I'll turn it over to city clerk. Or I mean, I guess I'll turn it over to the city manager who may or may not turn it then over to the city attorney, but I'll leave that up to you too. Um, thank you, Mayor. Uh, so we do have uh an item um for consideration. Um it's a settlement offer. Um I will offer up first. Uh I guess I'll ask the governing body of the mayor if an executive session is needed to discuss this. Yes, I would make a motion to move into executive session. Second. We have then I will ask the city attorney to please read. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. The motion would be to recess into executive session, not to exceed 15 minutes to give legal advice and discuss litigation and other matters deemed privileged under the attorney client privileges allowed under KSA 75-4319 B2. The open meeting will resume on Zoom, and the following staff will be necessary to assist the governing body in its deliberations. The city attorney and other staff members is needed. All right, with that, we have a motion and a second. Uh all those in favor say aye. Aye. All right. We have one nay from council member banks. With that, we will move into executive session. All right, we have concluded our executive session. Uh we are now have one action item left for this meeting.
