2:26

Um we looked at, we looked at the balance of our skill sets and realized that the city would be really well served by bringing on a good construction inspector to work with Mr.

Chad Boffman in development and engineering services.

2:42

Mr.

2:42

Games is a resident of Vandalia who lives on Farrell.

3:35

And so when we went through this process, uh his positive attitude, his desire to do good for Vandalia where he lives and wanting to shorten his commute.

4:10

All right.

4:12

All right, we have no public hearing, and that brings us to comments from interested citizens.

4:16

So if someone would like to make a comment, please come to the podium, state your name and address for the record and your comment.

4:31

Oh, sorry.

4:32

For replacing my um water meter last week.

4:35

There was a gentleman that came.

4:37

He was very polite, very very competent.

4:39

So I asked him, how long have you how long have you been doing how long have you worked for Vandalia?

4:43

And he said, 32 years, and I thought, wow, that's pretty admirable.
