No comments can be made against the employees of the school district or children outside of your own, and no comments will be made by the board at this time. Next order of business is the appointment of an acting superintendent. There's going to be an executive session with action anticipated after the executive session. Um I move that in accordance with Connecticut General Statute Section 10-157. The Board of Education hereby appoints Dr. Noah Abdul Hade to serve as acting superintendent of schools for the Windsor for the Windsor Public Schools commencing on July 22nd, 2025, and shall continue to be assigned to serve as acting superintendent until Dr. Terrell Hill returns from leave or successor superintendent commences employment. Further moved in recognition of Dr. Abdel Haiti's additional responsibilities as acting superintendent. The board agrees to pay the acting superintendent an annual salary of two hundred and twenty-seven thousand two hundred and forty-five dollars pro rated for the period of Dr. Abdel Haiti's service serves as acting superintendent. In addition, during the terms of this agreement, the acting superintendent shall continue to receive all fringe benefits that she receives in her current position of assistant superintendent for instructional services, including continued accumulation of vacation, sick, and personal duties.
